| Our gingerbread house. We think Brayden did an awesome job decorating! |
This year for Christmas Eve we stayed at home and invited a few neighbors over for pizza. Later that evening we all decorated cookies for Santa.
On Christmas morning Brayden woke up at 4:30am with a 103 degree temperature and a runny nose. We gave him Tylenol and sent him back to bed. He woke up again at 5:30am with 100 degree temperature and didn't want to go back to bed. We told him Santa had come and we took him downstairs to open presents. At first he wanted nothing to do with the presents and all he wanted was milk and to watch Cars (the movie). After opening a few presents he wanted to open more. Although he didn't feel great he still managed to eat chocolate out of his stocking.
At about 8:30 am we packed the car and headed to my parents house. When we got there we ate sticky rolls, fruit, eggs and had homemade hot chocolate. We then opened presents and Brayden enjoyed playing with his cousins and his cousins toys.
For Christmas this year Brayden got a camera, blocks, choo choo trains, candy, a firetruck puzzle and clothes. Kate got baby food, binkies, clothes and stacking barrels.
We all had a great Christmas and I really enjoyed being able to wake up in our own home and then leave that same day to see family.
