Our Trip

We stayed in Utah the week following Kate's blessing. The 24th of July is a holiday in the state of Utah so we were able to light a few fireworks. Brayden loves sparklers and enjoyed the bigger fireworks too. We were able to spend time with everyone on both sides of our family which was nice since I hadn't ever met some of our nieces and nephews on the Kelsey side (which is bad considering that we have been married almost six years).

The trip was great until our flight was delayed 4.5 hours on the way home. Sitting in the airport for over five hours isn't fun with a two year old and 2 month old. It helped that the Salt Lake airport has infant care rooms and Jetblue gave us $50 for food and a $150 credit for a future flight. I guess next time we will check the flight status ahead of time so we can avoid being stuck in the airport.
